Kaare Bach Toft is Head of the MarCom department at VisitAalborg. MarCom is the department responsible for market communication, and it covers all types of communication including marketing and sales, PR, info centers, business development, partnerships, etc.
Areas of responsibility include social and digital campaigns, i.e. designing and executing full-cycle campaigns involving e-mail marketing, marketing automation, customer journey mapping, lead generation, web optimization, and similar digital disciplines. In this role, Kaare has executed two successful microinfluencer campaigns for 2 x 15 Norwegian influencers, chosen respectively for the adult and family segments.
Further, Kaare is a sought after teacher within the SoME world and teaches social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat) and digital strategy development both in-house and at UCN.
Prior to his employment at VisitAalborg, Kaare spent 15 years in the newspaper industry as a Digital Key Account Manager at Nordjyske.
